Sydney View Photography

Over the last year we worked tightly with a marketing company called Our Agency to capture lots of Sydney Views for their customers – big international developers of residential and commercial property projects.

Most of the images were captured in panoramic aspect ratio. This was achieved by stitching together multiple images and the number of shots varied from ten to more than a hundred shots per just one composite panoramic image. Final image resolution sometimes exceeded 60K pixels across the long side. This stitching technique and utilising long focal length lenses helped us resolve very fine details of the gorgeous Sydney views.

Our photographer was raised on a mobile tower platform (a type of big cherry picker) to the same heights as the future apartments. That was done in order to capture actual real views that people will experience while living in the apartments. The biggest challenge was to keep the camera steady, especially while capturing dawn and twilight shots while at the heights of 50 meters and wind speed of 7-13 meters per second.

The panoramic images we produced were later used in the project’s sales brochures and as an interior elements in display suits.

Now, as those projects are completed we would like to share our work. Here are just a few examples of Sydney Views we photographed.
